RV Sites are not on a first come first serve basis. Although Lost Moose Meadows does allow guests to book a reservation upon arrival, if no sites are available, guests may be turned away.
If there is an issue with your current RV Site, please contact Management prior to moving to another site as we don’t want to create a reservation conflict.

LOCK FEE POLICY
At Lost Moose Meadows, we offer a $50 non-refundable lock fee if you want to guarantee a specific site and ensure it won’t be changed. This can be helpful if you need a certain spot to be near friends, for accessibility, or just have a favorite site.
That said, we actually prefer guests don’t use the lock fee.
As a small, 40-site, family-run park, flexibility in our schedule is key to keeping the business running. When sites are locked, it limits our ability to shift things around and fit in as many guests as possible — especially during busy weeks. Being able to move reservations within a site type helps us avoid gaps in the calendar and accept more bookings overall.
Without a lock fee, your reservation may be moved within the same site type (e.g., from one Meadow View Back-In to another). You may also be upgraded to a pull-through site at no additional charge if it helps us keep the schedule full.
We will never downgrade your site or place you somewhere that doesn’t accommodate your rig or hookups.
We generally only move shorter 1–2 night stays, while longer visits typically stay put.
If you’re booking multiple sites or want to be next to someone, each site must be locked individually.
To request a lock, just call or text (406) 204-0424, or email us at info@lmmrv.com. You can also reply to your confirmation email.
Check In & Check Out Times
Check in time begins at 1 p.m.
For check ins after the office closes (4pm), your check in packet will be placed out by the office front door for you to collect upon arrival and will include a map to your site. We do ask that you be sure to approve our terms and conditions. A link to the terms and conditions can be found in your reservation confirmation email.
Check out is before 11 a.m.
Late check out (of 4 p.m.) is allowed long as there are no guests with reservations in that same site and arriving on the day of your check out . There will be a late check out fee of $20. If there is a conflicting reservation, you may be asked to relocate to an unoccupied overflow area and the same late check-out fee will apply. Please check with the park management in order to arrange your late check out.
Noise in the campground
Quiet time within the Campground is from 10pm to 7am.
No Generator use
Wildlife
Bears have been known to frequent the Lincoln area as is the case in many parts of Western Montana. We ask that you help to limit a bear’s reason to pay a visit to Lost Moose Meadows Campground and keep your site clean and free of anything that a bear would find interesting. Please store BBQ’s, human food, pet food, trash or anything that would be considered and attractant indoors. If you can’t store it indoors, please make sure you store it in something that you do not care about as it may not look the same the following morning.
Elk, Deer and various species of birds also frequent the area. Please do not cause undue distress to these animals by chasing/scaring them or allowing your pets to show aggression towards them. These animals are what makes Montana so special, and we certainly want to keep them around.
Also, please be mindful that the wildlife in the area can and will attack when provoked, so please watch pets and children when these animals are present.
